Ajrakh

Ajrakh is a heritage hand block printing art form originating from the Sindh region, now practiced Kutch and Barmer. Rooted in ancient tradition and refined by the Khatri community, Ajrakh is revered for its meticulous 14-step process, using natural dyes like deep indigo, madder red, and iron black to create intricate, symmetrical patterns. Once adorned by pastoral elites and desert nobility, today it is celebrated in luxury fashion for its timeless elegance. Ideal for artisanal kurtas, opulent dupattas, regal sarees, and heirloom lehengas, Ajrakh is available in signature tones and luxe variants printed on silk, cotton, modal, and dobby—each piece a quiet celebration of craftsmanship and heritage.

Kalamkari

Kalamkari is an ancient textile art form that blends storytelling with craftsmanship, traditionally practiced in Srikalahasti and Machilipatnam in Andhra Pradesh. The name derives from kalam (pen) and kari (work), referring to the use of a fine bamboo pen to hand-paint or block-print mythological narratives onto fabric. With roots in temple culture and patronage from royal courts, Kalamkari is known for its earthy palette, intricate detailing, and natural dyes like indigo, madder, and jaggery-black. Once used in temple backdrops and ritual cloths, today it graces elegant sarees, statement dupattas, artful blouses, and contemporary silhouettes. Jamdani

Jamdani is a fine muslin weave celebrated for its ethereal texture and handwoven motifs that appear to float on the surface of the fabric. Originating from Dhaka (now in Bangladesh) and perfected in West Bengal’s weaving towns, Jamdani flourished under Mughal patronage and is recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage. Woven on traditional pit looms, each motif is inserted by hand, thread by thread, resulting in delicate patterns of florals, vines, and geometry. Once considered a textile of royalty, Jamdani is now a symbol of refined elegance, ideal for breezy sarees, dupattas, blouses, and summer kurtas. Crafted in pure cotton or cotton-silk blends, and available in serene whites, soft pastels, and subtle contrasts, every Jamdani piece whispers quiet luxury and artisanal mastery.

Chanderi

Chanderi is a heritage weave from the town of Chanderi in Madhya Pradesh, celebrated for its sheer texture, gossamer-light feel, and subtle sheen. With origins dating back over a thousand years, Chanderi was once favored by royals and continues to embody understated elegance.
